The State Highway Administration, in collaboration with the Baltimore County Department of Public Works, has initiated a roadway improvements/resurfacing and water-main replacement project along MD 139 (Charles Street) from the Baltimore City – Baltimore County line to MD 134 (Bellona Avenue) in the Woodbrook area of Baltimore County.
The purpose of the project is to upgrade the roadway surface and water main along about one-tenth of a mile along MD 139 (Charles Street).
Construction is scheduled to begin in late fall 2023 with an estimated completion in fall 2026. This project will be constructed in four phases and require a series of temporary lane and shoulder closures. There will be no vehicular detours. There will be pedestrian detours while sidewalks are under construction.
